Ayush Noori was a Biology Fellow at Fifty Years, where he used to find and empower scientists seeking to translate academic discoveries and spinout new companies, support Fifty Years founders discovering biotechnologies and therapeutics that move our world forward, and build communities of young people interested in biotech to catalyze the next generation of life science entrepreneurship.
Ayush is an undergraduate at Harvard studying Computational Neuroscience. Inspired by personal experiences, Ayush is passionate about improving neurological health across the human lifespan. He is a researcher in the Institute for Neurodegenerative Disease at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School. Ayush leverages machine learning – including computer vision, natural language processing, and graph representation learning – and designs bioinformatics pipelines to study neurodegeneration and other rare neurological disorders. His recent work has helped reveal the complexity and heterogeneity of glial reactions in Alzheimer’s disease. Ayush’spublications are available here.
When not coding, reading, or brainstorming with founders, Ayush is a creative writer – he was a finalist in the National Spelling Bee, and his writing portfolio received the New York Times National Gold Medal. Ayush enjoys photography, bird watching, and meditation.
